Elvis Presley is gone and now his guitarist Scotty Moore is gone as well at the age of 84.Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist All the classics of Elvis Presley was performed right alongside Scotty Moore. The long time guitarist and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame died at home in Nashville this Tuesday. In the recent months, Mr. Moore had not been at his best.“It’s with great sadness we say goodbye to Scotty Moore, my first inspiration,” Keith Richards said in a statement. “The work he performed on those incredible early Elvis tracks stays with me forever. Farewell old friend.” He began playing at a very early age, after  he moved he started playing with Bill Black in 1954. Not long after that, Mr. Moore was Playing with the young Elvis Presley. They recorded one of Elvis first single “That’s All Right  (Mama)  and the rest of history. Moore was inducted into the rock and Roll of Fame in 2000 as part of the inaugural class celebrating sidemen, a category that honored “those musicians who have spent their careers out of the spotlight, performing as backup musicians for major artist on recording sessions and in concert.”
