Five ways to make your hair healthy right at home.

Healthy soft and shiny hair can be expensive if you choose the overwhelming products on the market today. This article was inspired by a conversation with my Daughter Erica Denny about her frustrations with her beautiful long blonde hair. Her complaints were very real to her not to mention very that is very expensive.  Let’s face it having a bad hair day can lead to drastic decisions. Fortunately, it is possible to restore both softness and shine to your hair by simply reaching out to your pantry and creating your very own formula, achieving fantastic results and for a fraction of the cost. The choice is endless, and one can try different ones and see what gives you the best result. Let’s start with:

Coconut Oil,

Yes, start by choosing an unrefined coconut oil and massage it through your dry hair, remember if you do have oily hair stay sway from the roots, the goal is to condition towards the ends of your hair. The way to apply is to start at the ends and work your way up.

Wash your hair with look warm water, using a shower cap for at 30 minutes is a must in order to help the dry hair to soak the oil.

Once 30 minutes has passed rinse your hair once again and continue with shampoo and condition, give it a final rinse with cold water, let it air dry.

Eggs,

Using only the yolk make a mixture with olive oil, mix it well

Shampoo your hair with warm water and then apply the solution onto your wet hair let it soak for 5 to 8 minutes.

Rinse it well with lukewarm water and a final rinse with cool water, and let your dry naturally.

Yogurt

Simply apply plain yogurt to your hair with a brush,  Greek yogurt works just as well, it is important to remember to stay with this two choice and avoid adding more sugar and food coloring to your hair.

after brushing it on to your wet and clean hair, just pull it back into a bun or just use a shower cap and leave it for a good 30 minutes. This method will hard the yogurt in your hair, so the best way to achieve getting it all out is to simply take a shower make use your shampoo and conditioner of choice.

Aloe Vera and Honey

For even a deep conditioner mix together, aloe Vera, you can use the gel or abstract from the plant itself, with honey Just remember honey has a tendency to light up your hair, so use is with discretion. 

Make a paste of the two ingredients and apply it to wet and clean hair, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes.

Rinse it well and shampoo and condition as you normally would, it is best to let it air dry.

Vinegar

As the usual shampoo, your hair, rinse ti completely with cold water. Apply two cups of apple cider  vinegar to one cup of water and carefully rinse your hair with the solution. Leave the mixture on for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse the vinegar off your hair. Rinse with clean warm running water until the vinegar smell dissipates.

This process can be repeated once a week leaving your hair free from shampoo buildup.
